Terms of service (draft).
Astvyr is not released yet, so these terms are not yet in force. They describe the intended commercial model — what a seat is, how overage will work, and what happens to your data if the relationship ends. Planned release: 7 July 2027.
// DRAFT — NOT YET IN FORCE. Pending review by counsel. Takes effect on release.

1. Pre-release status
Astvyr has not been released. The product is in development and under private testing; no public build is published, early access is not provided, and prices are not yet determined. The planned release date is 7 July 2027.
Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation, a warranty of availability or a binding commitment as to scope, price or date. Plan names, planned features, metering descriptions and roadmap entries describe intent and may change before release. Any future supply of the product will be governed by a separately executed agreement.
These terms are therefore a draft. They are not yet in force, they are pending review by counsel, and they will take effect on the release of the product in the form published at that time.
2. Agreement
Once in force, these terms will govern your use of the Astvyr editor, CLI, and related services. By installing or using the software you accept them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.
3. Licence grant
The core editor is planned to be licensed free of charge for individual use, including commercial work by a sole practitioner. Paid plans — Pro, Pro Max, Team and Business — are planned to be licensed per seat, for the number of developers named on the order.
Enterprise is planned to be licensed under a separate agreement that sets deployment scope, support commitments, and any custom weights produced for you. Custom weights remain yours; the tooling that produced them remains ours.
4. Metered cloud requests
Paid plans are planned to include a monthly allowance of routed cloud requests per seat, pooled at the organization level. Local inference is not planned to be metered or capped.
The planned overage model bills at the published rate per additional 1,000 requests. Administrators will be able to set a hard ceiling to prevent unexpected charges; requests above a ceiling will fail closed rather than billing silently.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Astvyr to generate malware, to circumvent the licence limits, or to probe our infrastructure outside the disclosure process described on the security page.
You remain responsible for the code you ship, including anything produced with assistance from the editor, and for complying with the licences of models you run locally.
6. Availability
The availability figures published for the released service — 99.9% monthly on paid individual and team plans, and 99.99% under an Enterprise agreement — are engineering targets, not commitments at this stage. Local functionality will not depend on our infrastructure.
After release, planned maintenance is intended to be announced at least seven days in advance and scheduled outside business hours in the regions affected.
7. Warranties and liability
The software will be provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
8. Termination
You may stop using the software at any time. We may terminate a licence for material breach after written notice and a 30-day cure period.
On termination, local data on your machines remains yours and remains usable in read-only mode for 30 days; we do not hold a copy to revoke.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, with venue in Wilmington, unless a separately executed agreement states otherwise.
